Greatest Internet Marketing Asset

If someone asked you if your internet business had any great asset, what would you say?  The most successful marketers will tell you that their list is the single greatest asset; that is why you see so many list building products popping up like crazy (Inside the List).

If you’re new the game you may ask, why is the list important?  Why is not knowing SEO, PPC, link building, and the other entire gamma that comes with enough?

The simple answer is the ability to communicate with a customer base or a targeted market base of people over and over is what is so golden about having a good list!

You’ve probably heard of people who say, they made $157,940 in 4 days!  And you’re simply thinking, what a scammer.  But think about this a moment; what if he has a list the size of a small suburb just north of Chicago (Evanston – population 74,239).

As he emails this list of 74 thousand plus people, he emails them an offer to buy a tiny small ebook that cost just $25 bucks!  Let’s suppose just 10% of that list buys his excellent offer, let’s crunch these numbers.

Ten percent is 7423 (roughly) and multiply that by 25 bucks and you get a whopping $185,575.  Well over the $157 grand in the example above.  Big name marketers do this all day every day.

You can totally do this to for WHATEVER your niche or crowd is.  Let me show you how this works, and how magical it can be.  Like anything worth anything, you need to have the proper preparation.  Don’t think you went to four years of high school, and some another 4 years in college, then all of the sudden you’re going to put together the magical list. NO, no, no!

It takes skills and preparation.  The first step is to build an asset first – a list of customers’ email addresses that is.

You will need to have a lead capturing web-page, also known in the industry as a squeeze page, in order for you to do that.

The difficult part to this is how you essentially get people to opt-in to your list with their email addresses.

One of the best ways is to give away a special informative bonus for free in return of their email addresses! You know something they definitely want and would pay a buck or two to get.  Don’t stop there.

You’ll still need to make your free-gift irresistible that it’s too good to refuse.  I call it the “house on the hills with a free Bentley for $97 bucks” offer!  Who wouldn’t take that without strings attached?

Here are 5 ways to make your free gift more enticing.

1. Show them the benefits - Tell them about the return they can get from your free gift… (you could give away an e-book, a video, special report, discount voucher… etc)

2. “Market Price” at a very high price – Let your prospects know the market price if they didn’t grab it free here. But of course, you are giving it to them for free. (People love get something while it’s free)

3. Attract your customers with visuals - Let them see a glimpse of what they are getting.  A good visual can get them salivating… It could be an image of a training video, an e-cover or a dvd… etc.

4. Create Urgency for your free offer – If people can sit on their tush, they won’t make decision, so for your customers you want to make it a limited time so they take action immediately.

5. Exercising scarcity – Set a limit to the number of copies you are giving away for free. People are afraid of missing out. The fear of loss also encourages your customers to take action fast.

Good day it’s Due Daniels and today I’m with my good buddy and business partner Antonio Dannes.  We just wanted to talk briefly to you before you get your work day started and we want to talk about your current pay per click marketing system you’re using.  Do you have a system set up?

Let’s talk quality score.  Google multiplies your quality score by your click through rate (CTR) for where your ad will land.  The more effective your ad is the higher Google will bump you up the rankings.  So this is what you have to do daily.  You have to set up campaigns and ad groups that are specific to a particular landing page.

For instance you have a keyword of “super vitamins for liver” You want this first off to be in a campaign named “Liver” and you’ll want to name the ad group “Super Vitamins for Liver.”  This will help your CTR and your quality score.  When Google sees that you have a keyword that matches your ad; and matches your landing page, they will reward you.  You’ll pay less for the same keyword and you’ll be higher up on the ad listings.

To start off, your ads may be a bit more expensive; they will come down over time.  Speaking of ads; be sure to split test.  Split testing is crucial to your pay per click.  This way, you will see which ad does better and you can continuously compete against the successful or current ad.

I normally only do two ads at a time; I recommend you do it this way also.

Now, I and Mr. Dannes are board certified Google Adwords Individuals, and we spend a ton of money on Google daily (our own money) in profits.  Yes, we have software that is greatly helpful to us but we ultimately understand the fundamentals of pay per click.

So how can twitter help your internet marketing?  It’s not rocket science but if you’re new online you should start investigating this medium to add to your business marketing.  For your information, Twitter HAS JUMPED up to the number 14 most visited website on the entire Internet!  Wow!  That’s pretty amazing in the short time they have been in existence.

And the community they have and the set up they’ve built, there is huge potential for anyone to earn money, build relationships, build a business, a brand, and have a lot of fun.

First thing you want to do is open a Twitter account!  Go to www.twitter.com

Then the very next thing you want to do is be my friend.  Search for Antonio Dannes or just go twitter.com/antoniodannes, select follow, and we’ll be friends or following each other.  This will allow you to get updates timely from me and I can chime in on updates you have as well.

Now every time you make an update or when I make one, all our followers will get our updates automatically.  It is just a powerful tool for Interne marketers!  It can be a very, very vital to the growth of your internet marketing business.

And…Here is a new little trick to getting followers; go on people’s pages that you like and follow them.  Simple right?  You can go to the find friends’ area or to the view followers’ page of others, and click follow.

What happens is that people will then begin to follow you back.  Now you can’t just go on a following frenzy; because twitter WILL stop you at around 2000 especially if you do not have any followers.

So from time to time you want to manually go through to cut off anyone that you’re following that is not following you back!  For anyone growing an internet marketing business; you’ll see that it can get you more website visits than many other mediums.  More visits will turn into a growing list, and a growing list into more dollars!
